Well built and perfectly setup tool

This unit was usable right out of the box. The adjustments for snipe were spot on, and the spiral cutter head cuts clean and is amazingly quiet comparatively to other benchtop planers.

I ordered and promptly received my 404600H surface planer. It was easy to set up and initial testing went smoothly. Minimal sniping, quiet operation, great controls- overall very impressed. One small plastic insert was missing from the top roller. I spoke with a very pleasant service rep- the missing piece was shipped promptly. Thanks for a great product and service!
