Ultra-Portable 6" Cutech Jointer – Compact Without Compromise

The ultra-portable 6" Cutech jointer packs all the essential features you'd expect from a larger model. Weighing just 40 lbs, it’s easy to transport to any job site. With a total bed length of 30", it provides solid support for small projects with ease. The 6" spiral cutterhead features 12 two-sided Tungsten Carbide (TC) inserts. These inserts are aligned with precision to deliver smooth, accurate cuts and last up to 50% longer than standard HSS ones. Just like our larger models, this jointer uses a dual guide-post system that ensures straight, consistent cuts at any cutting depth. Reinforced with additional support rods, the jointer maintains stability and strength when working with heavier workpieces. The upgraded, teflon-coated infeed and outfeed tables offer a non-corrosive, non-reactive surface that protects your workpieces. This protective layer helps resist scratches and improves surface hardness to 6H, extending the life of your tables.

Just got my new jointer!

My new 6 inch jointer just arrived today. I also ordered the cast iron fence with it. I'm glad I did and love how solid it feels compared to the aluminum. it also makes the whole unit more stable because of the extra weight. Set up was easy enough for me. I work as a waterjet machinist and know a few tricks to setting up tools. I only ran a piece of pine through it to check alignment, and it's dead on. I'll get a lot of use out of it. Betty in customer support was awesome to deal with. I had a shipping issue due to my schedule and she made it so that it worked out great! Even called me to let me know UPS did not pick up one day and there would be a delay. I appreciate that kind of customer service! Can't wait to start running actual projects through it! It's quieter than I expected which is good since I have neighbors in the apartment in front of me. It's the perfect size for my small space and the stand I made to use it on rolls.

6 inch Cutech jointer

I have A 6 “ cutech jointer I purchased several years ago. I have used this as my sole jointer in making many tables, benches, mirrors, custom bunk beds and recently charcuterie boards. This jointer has always performed well. Only recently did I rotate the original carbide blades as one blade had two small grooves in the cutting edge. Other than needing a standby set of carbide blades this machine is amazing. Currently using to make two cherry nightstands a walnut coffee table and a double live edge walnut night stand. Certainly worth the investment and would buy again. Cheers Ki

I gave up

My 6 inch jointer is 2 years old now and I didn’t even use it for the first few months and when I did was out of square and the tables a lined I tried to fix it I watch bunch videos but still can’t figure it out. I just want to throw it away and buy something else.
