Excellent Planer!

We are so happy we found this planer!
It is very precise, less noisy than the other planer we had and there is minimal to no snipe. It exceeded our expectations by far! We definitely recommend Cutech Tools. Thank you so much!!!

excellent planer at any price

i've had my cutech for about 6 months, used in a busy but hobbyist shop. It moves through wood easily and the finish is excellent. The spiral cutterhead is a terrific feature. overall, flawless performance and very satisfactory features and design. i just put a wixey guage on it

Value for the money

Was looking for planer suitable for a d-i-y weekend warrior. Researched the heck out of it and finally chose Cutech's 40700h. Needed some minor adjustments out of the box and dust collection could probably be better - I'm looking into improving the dust collection system I currently have - but the machine is a workhorse and suits me just fine.

Best planer out there

This is the best investment I have made so far. Just a couple small adjustments out of the box to the extension tables, cuts like butter with very minimal snipe, not to mention the excellent customer service talking to a real live person instead of a machine goes a long way. I would highly recommend this planer to not just a first time buyer but anyone who is looking to replace there old one, not taking anything away from other planers but this is by far the best choice anyone could make. I Am so confident with this company and their products my next purchase will be their jointer.

Way better than the Old planer I was using

I've been using this pretty hard to plane some reclaimed free pine wood to do my kitchen countertops. It requires regular maintenance as stipulated in the owner's manual. Remember to check for loose parts/screws every so often. Clean the rollers regularly especially when planing a lot of pine. I've only used the HSS inserts and I think I wore them out already.

I'm going to try the Tungsten Carbide inserts to see if I can get extra life out of the inserts.

So far, so good and remember to read the owner's manual and do regular maintenance.
