Works as designed. Spiral cutter head is the way to go. On first use I fed several 8" wide boards of well dried tropical hardwood called Guayacan through & performance was great. Huge difference in sound & power requirements from straight-blade planer of equal of more expensive price.

I have not had this machine very long, but it does a beautiful shop bring old boards back to life. The cut is smooth and even. It’s worth the purchase.

My only fault with this machine is that it does not have a blade/depth stop. I saw a video comparison of this machine to a comparable Wen machine and the author pointed out that the stop on the Cutech was better. I was disappointed the machine I received does not have a blade/depth stop. My experience with the machine so far has been very good.
