Ultra-Portable 6" Cutech Jointer – Compact Without Compromise

The ultra-portable 6" Cutech jointer packs all the essential features you'd expect from a larger model. Weighing just 40 lbs, it’s easy to transport to any job site. With a total bed length of 30", it provides solid support for small projects with ease. The 6" spiral cutterhead features 12 two-sided Tungsten Carbide (TC) inserts. These inserts are aligned with precision to deliver smooth, accurate cuts and last up to 50% longer than standard HSS ones. Just like our larger models, this jointer uses a dual guide-post system that ensures straight, consistent cuts at any cutting depth. Reinforced with additional support rods, the jointer maintains stability and strength when working with heavier workpieces. The upgraded, teflon-coated infeed and outfeed tables offer a non-corrosive, non-reactive surface that protects your workpieces. This protective layer helps resist scratches and improves surface hardness to 6H, extending the life of your tables.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

CUTECH Spiral Cutterhead

CUTECH Spiral Cutterhead

Cutterhead with 6 rows that holds staggered tungsten carbide inserts for a smooth finish. The spiral cutterhead is known for its reduced noise levels and smoother finishes, making it ideal for beginners who want professional results without the frustration.

The design of the cutterhead along with the use of in-house made inserts make cuts with the lowest amp draw compared to others.

Two-sided Inserts

Two-sided Inserts

Two-sided inserts sit in perfect alignment to the spiral cutterhead. The non-cutting edge is designed to prevent inserts from skewing while planing, providing superior precision compared to 4-sided inserts.

The precision is superior to 4-sided inserts.

Depth of Cut Pointer

Clear and accurate scale and pointer for a precise measured cut every time. This feature makes the jointer user-friendly and reliable for beginners and experienced woodworkers alike.

Elevation Control

Elevation Control

Say goodbye to table inconsistencies with the dual guide-post mechanism. Parallel tables translate to straight cuts at any different depth.

Reinforced Support Rods

Additional support rods enhance the machine’s strength and stability, providing sustained support for heavy-duty workpieces.

Upgraded teflon-Coated Tables With 6H Hardness

Durable teflon coating resists corrosion and scratches, while increasing surface hardness to 6H — extending the life of your infeed and outfeed tables.

I gave up

My 6 inch jointer is 2 years old now and I didn’t even use it for the first few months and when I did was out of square and the tables a lined I tried to fix it I watch bunch videos but still can’t figure it out. I just want to throw it away and buy something else.

The above joiner just arrived. It was easy to put together but the pictures in the manual leave something to be desired. I purchased it on the Chirstmas Sale for 225.00 with free shipping, plus I purchased the carbide blades. I basically just squared up the fence and then adjust the pointer on the deep to zero. I had a rough edge of Oak right by it when I got it ready to test. I set it at 1/32 of an inch. I past the edge thru it about 6 times and is was super smooth and perfectly square. I have not put the carbide blade in yet and do not plan to, until the one that cam with it wear out.

For $225 it seem to do and unbelievable job. I am just getting into woodworking as I just retired. I will leave another review in a couple of weeks after I make some cutting boards with it. Right now it gets a 5 star, super compact, but exactly what most of us hobbiest need because of lack of space. Appears to be better choice then getting one of the old Craftsmans that are for sale everywhere and they want almost as much as this one. The cutting design seems very innovative where is you are going to be doing edges like me you do not have to replace the cutter along the entire six inches. Just the ones that get used.

Cutech Jointer

It seems I'm at the end of the line here but I've had my Cutech 6 inch Jointer for about ten years now and its working the same as it was new. I've been making cutting boards and Charcuterie boards for most of those years. It works today as if it was brand new. I recommend it to any wood worker who needs one. Best quality and reasonable price.

Cutech 6" jointer

Very impressed how the jointer performs. I've inherited this jointer from my father-in-law that he had stored for couple of years. Reached out to customer service and they were very polite, generous and super helpful. Send me replacement tables without any hesitation.
