13 inch Two-Speed Spiral Cutterhead Benchtop Planer - CUTECH 40800H

Used a Rigid planer for years, finally tired of hss knives. Cutech is based off Rigid planers.
Package arrived in exceptional protective packaging. Set up and was cutting in 30 mins.
Used a couple times but finish is fantastic and dual speeds a big plus.

What a machine! I read all the reviews I could find on planers and determined the Cutech was one of the best. This planer is an upgrade from a Delta that I had for many years. No comparison! Quieter, more powerful, better results. The two speed feature is the deal maker for me. I work a lot with quarter sawn white oak and the Cutech leaves it smooth as glass - no tear out! Buy it; you'll never regret it.

I’ve only used this planer a couple of times so far, but I am happy with the quality of the cut, with barely noticeable snipe. The only negative I have seen is that it does throw out a little bit of cutting debris from the infeed side, but not a big deal.

For the money you can't beat this little powerhouse from Cutech. I moved from a Dewalt to the Cutech 2-Speed 13" model and haven't looked back. Better cut quality, no snipe, repeat cut mechanism with increased accuracy over the screwed type and a spiral cutterhead with tungsten carbide inserts and finally an all metal body.
