Good product.

I’ve only used this planer a couple of times so far, but I am happy with the quality of the cut, with barely noticeable snipe. The only negative I have seen is that it does throw out a little bit of cutting debris from the infeed side, but not a big deal.

Best All Around Benchtop Planer

For the money you can't beat this little powerhouse from Cutech. I moved from a Dewalt to the Cutech 2-Speed 13" model and haven't looked back. Better cut quality, no snipe, repeat cut mechanism with increased accuracy over the screwed type and a spiral cutterhead with tungsten carbide inserts and finally an all metal body. This planer isn't lacking anywhere. Here's my review https://youtu.be/Byh_dRsPdNw

Great planer

I first owned a 3 blade planer from a different manufacturer. It was fine to learn on, but the Cutech 13" model # 40800H is far superior. Customer service is fantastic. Calls to the front desk are answered quickly by an actual human(Debbie, I believe, is her name). She has vast knowledge of the products, but is eager to contact other members of their team for the highest level of customer service. My questions were directed to Leon and he was also willing to go the extra mile to help with any questions I may have had. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The two speed motor is great for material removal and a fine finish on the surface of your piece. I would certainly purchase tools from Cutech in the future. Thank you.
Stay well,

Andy Decker

Very Happy!

I got my 13" dual speed planer today and I'm really happy with it. It arrived in tact no damage from UPS (which I was concerned about) and I unpacked the unit and mounted it on my bench in my pole barn and connected my dust collection unit to the dust port on the planner. Im using the diameter port btw.
The setup was very straight forward and I didn't even have to adjust the tables at all! I was surprised I didn't have to make any adjustments. I started with some smaller boards rough sawn pallet wood, mahogany, bass wood, maple and then got into some cherry. I was really excited when I seen how smooth this planner works especially right out of the box!
Many years ago I had the Dewalt 13" planner and was very happy with it other than the fact it had the straight knife blades. With this unit and the spiral planner spindle with the inserts this will be even better as far as blade sharpening.

I’m really excited to start putting this to work planing a lot of pallet wood that I got from my late father. I believe it’s mainly a strain of mahogany and it sure looks nice with just the few pieces I've experimented with.

Outstanding machine so far from what I'm seeing and compared to the the Dewalt that I had.

Thanks for a great product!
